Partial Closures and Trade Counting

Partial Closures Explained

When you close a position in parts, each closure counts as a trade.

How It Works

Scenario: 100 Shares Position

  • Buy 100 shares of INFY at ₹1500
  • Sell 50 shares at ₹1520 → 1 trade
  • Sell 25 shares at ₹1510 → 1 trade
  • Sell 25 shares at ₹1505 → 1 trade
  • Total: 3 completed trades

Options Example

  • Buy 2 lots Nifty CE
  • Sell 1 lot → 1 trade
  • Sell 1 lot → 1 trade
  • Total: 2 trades

Why This Matters

  • Each closure gets its own analysis
  • Separate P&L calculation per closure
  • Distinct emotion/behavior tagging
  • Individual AI analysis

Note

The AI tracks your scaling patterns and reports on historical scale-out data.
