How to Connect Your Broker

Pinbar AI syncs your trades automatically from connected Brokers using secure, read-only API access.

Important: We NEVER

• Store your broker login password
• Execute trades on your behalf
• Access or transfer your funds
• Modify your broker settings

Connection Steps

For Zerodha:

1. Go to Settings → Broker Connections
2. Click "Connect with Zerodha"
3. You'll be redirected to Zerodha's login page
4. Log in and authorize Pinbar AI
5. Trades will sync automatically

Note: Zerodha tokens expire daily. You may need to reconnect each day.

For Dhan:

1. Go to web.dhan.co → DhanHQ → Access Token
2. Generate a new 24-hour JWT token
3. In Pinbar AI, go to Settings → Broker Connections
4. Enter your Client ID and Access Token

For Angel One:

1. Go to Settings → Broker Connections
2. Click "Connect Angel One"
3. Enter your API Key (from SmartAPI)
4. Enter your Client Code
5. Enter your PIN
6. Enter the current TOTP (expires every 30 seconds — be quick!)

For Groww:

1. Subscribe to Groww API (₹499+GST/month — paid to Groww, not Pinbar AI)
2. Get your TOTP Token and TOTP Secret (NOT the 6-digit code)
3. Enter credentials in Settings → Broker Connections
4. Auto-refreshes daily at 6 AM IST — set once, forget forever

For Upstox (Beta):

1. Go to Settings → Broker Connections → Upstox
2. You'll be redirected to upstox.com for OAuth
3. Tokens expire at midnight IST — daily reconnect needed

For Fyers (Beta):

1. Get your API ID and Access Token from myapi.fyers.in
2. Enter in Settings → Broker Connections
3. Tokens expire at midnight IST — generate fresh daily

For Delta Exchange:

1. Log in to delta.exchange → Profile → API Keys
2. Create a new API key with "Read Only" permissions
3. Copy the API Key and Secret (secret shown only once!)
4. Enter credentials in Pinbar AI Settings

For 5paisa:

1. Get API credentials from developer.5paisa.com
2. Enter Client Code and keys in Settings → Broker Connections
3. Persistent connection — no daily reconnect needed

For Crypto Exchanges (CoinDCX, Pi42, Bitbns, ZebPay):

1. Go to your exchange's Settings → API Keys
2. Create a new API key with read-only permissions
3. Copy the API Key and API Secret
4. Enter in Pinbar AI Settings → Broker Connections

Troubleshooting

• Connection Failed: Double-check your API credentials
• No Trades Showing: Click "Refresh" to manually sync
• Incorrect P&L: Verify positions in your broker app
• "Segments Not Active" (Upstox): Activate in Upstox app → Profile → Segment Activation
• "TOTP verification failed" (Groww): Use TOTP Secret (long string), NOT the 6-digit code
